필립스 컬렉션

미국 워싱턴 D.C.의 듀퐁 서클(Dupont Circle)에 위치하고 있는 미술관입니다. 던컨 필립스(Duncan Phillips)와 마조리 필립스(Marjorie Acker Phillips) 부부에 의해 1921년 설립되었으며, 설립 당시 이름은 필립스 기념미술관(Phillips Memorial Gallery)이었습니다.

미국 최초의 근대회화(modern art) 미술관으로 미국과 유럽의 인상파와 근대회화 작품들 위주로 3,000여점을 소장하고 있습니다.

여러 작품 중에서도 특히, 르누아르의 뱃놀이 일행의 오찬(Le déjeuner des canotiers, Luncheon of the Boating Party)이 유명합니다.
