로마 국립현대미술관 

로마 국립현대미술관은 근대미술(modern art) 및 현대미술(contemporary art) 위주의 미술관으로 1883년 설립되었습니다.

현재 미술관 건물은 Palazzo delle Belle Arti (Palace of Fine Arts)로 1911년에서 1915년에 걸쳐 완공되었다고 합니다. 미술관은 이후 1934년과 2000년에 각각 확장을 하였습니다.

미술관은 19세기 부터 20세기의 작품들 소장하고 있으며, 11,000여 점의 회화 및 조각 작품을 전시하고 있습니다. 근현대 작품에서는 이탈리아에서 가장 큰 규모라고 합니다.

자코모 발라(Giacomo Balla), 조르조 모란디(Giorgio Morandi), 비토리오 코르코스(Vittorio Matteo Corcos) 등 이탈리아 작가들의 작품이 많습니다.

또한, 세잔(Cézanne), 드가(Degas), 모네(Monet),

고흐(Van Gogh) 등 이탈리아 외의 유럽 작가들 작품도 소장 및 전시하고 있습니다.
