스칸디나비아 반도에서 가장 큰 러시아 정교회 성당으로 러시아가 핀란드를 점령하고 있을 당시 러시아의 건축가 알렉세이 고르노스타예프(Aleksei Gornostaev, 1808–1862)가 설계하였으며, 알렉세이가 사망한 후인 1868년 완공되었습니다.
