● 노트르담 성당
영국의 왕이었던 헨리 플랜태저넷이 병을 고쳤다고 전해지는 성당. 목제 조각상인 검은 성모상이 유명.

● 생 소베르 성당
내부 벽에 왕, 귀족, 성직자들의 순례여행을 보여주는 그림· 비문 등이 있음.

□ 먹을 것

● 로카마두르 치즈
염소젖으로 만들었으며, 부드러운 맛으로 널리 알려진 로카마두르 치즈의 생산지.

동굴 입구에는 샘물로 완치된 사람들이 두고 간 수많은 목발들이 걸려 있음.

카르카손 (Carcassonne)

유럽 최대의 요새 도시. 동화 속 중세도시 같은 곳.

● 라 시테 지구
52개의 석탑이 견고한 두 겹의 성벽에 둘러싸여 있음. 십자군전쟁 등으로 대부분 훼손됐으나 19세기에 지금의 모습으로 복원.

● 생나제르 성당
성 남쪽에 위치. 13~14세기에 만들어진 우아한 고딕 양식의 창인 예배당 날개 부분이 유명. 야간에는 조명으로 멋진 분위기를 연출.

카마르그 습지 (Camargue)

프랑스의 자연 보존 지역. 이곳에 거대한 영지를 소유했던 로마 장군 카이우스 마리우스의 이름에서 유래.

백마와 검은 황소가 유명하며 선사 시대부터 이곳에 서식했던 거대한 동물 무리의 후손으로 여겨짐.

카마르그에서 보고된 야생조류 337종 중에는 플라밍고가 가장 유명.
