서울 영등포구 의사당대로 38

예전에는 이벤트를 하면 스타벅스 커피 상품권을 많이 줬는데 요즘은 빽다방 앗메리카노 쿠폰도 많이 주네요. 기업들도 허리를 졸라매서 그런 건지.

그렇다고 불만이 있는 건 아닙니다. 

더 더워지기 전에 따뜻한 아메리카노 한 잔을 마셨습니다.

단 걸 좋아하면서 커피는 안 단 게 좋고, 차가운 걸 좋아하면서 커피는 따뜻한 게 더 좋습니다.

은행나무

은행나무 

봄은 꽃들만 있는 건 아닙니다. 앙상하던 은행나무에도 잎들이 돋아나죠.

누군가는 잎을 떨구고 겨울을 버텨야 했지만, 새로운 잎을 싹 틔우는 은행잎을 보며 희망을 떠올립니다.

다른 누군가는 몇 개월 뒤에 떨어질텐데 또 잎을 싹 틔우는 나무들이 어리석다고 말하며, 정해진 운명 앞에 무력함과 절망을 떠올립니다.

나무는 그냥 묵묵히 나무 자신의 역할에 충실할 뿐인데, 바라보는 사람에 따라 다른 의미를 부여하는 것이죠.

나무를 보고 있지만, 사실은 나무가 아닌 자신의 삶에 부여하는 의미일 겁니다.

과연 나는 저 은행나무를 보며 어떤 생각을 하고 있을까요?
